To get over the death idea you have to get really comfortable with it. Watching bodies burn is a good technique. After a few dozen it might settle in that one of these days you’re next.

A great place to do this is Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi where they’ve been burning bodies 24 hours a day 7 days a week, sometimes 7 or 8 at a time, for thousands of years. Anybody can come here, sit, and get comfortable with the death idea—then transcend it!
